More than inspirational...

There are no words that can truly describe the art of Elaine Spatz-Rabinowitz. This Cambridge artist, who I just recently discovered through the Howard Yezerski Gallery in Boston, absolutely blows my mind. I just HAD to share her work with you. Spatz-Rabinowitz works in oil on cast, pigmented Hydrocal with the subject matter of political violence and war. Her work is rough and delicate, abstract yet eerily representational, romantically violent, beautifully morbid and intensely expressive. I am more then impressed.
