I'm excited to share that once again, my work will be featured in the prestigious MassArt Benefit Auction taking place in Boston this Spring.

  

Although I have been a contributing artist to the MassArt Auction for the past 8 years, this is the second consecutive year my work has been selected for the distinguished LIVE auction section of this highly respected annual art event. 

Chosen from over 1400 pieces of art, only a hand full of work is chosen to be presented in the Live Auction, hosted by Karen Keane, CEO of Skinner Auctioneers.

My piece will be featured alongside nationally and internationally renowned artists such as Chuck Close, Trenton Doyle Hancock, Jenny Holzer, William Kentridge, Fred H.C. Liang, Michael Mazur, Abelardo Morell, Nick Nixon, and Jack Pierson.
I'm honored to have my work presented alongside these incredible artists and many more!

I had the pleasure of attending the MassArt Auction Preview Party Thursday evening and I have to reiterate that this is truly the best, most impressive auction yet! I've posted a few "sneak peak pics" but you truly need to see this amazing show and exciting LIVE auction in person. Please join me for this awesome event TONIGHT!

The MassArt Auction - This Saturday, April 10th!

Get your tickets now! This Saturday, April 10th, the MassArt Benefit Auction opens its doors to kick off Spring with one of Boston's most exciting art filled evenings of the year.

I always look forward to this annual auction with great anticipation but this year more than ever. My painting "Confluence #4" will be featured in the distinguished LIVE auction section of this highly respected, juried art event. My piece, along with 37 works by nationally and internationally renowned artists such as Jun Kaneko, Shepard Fairey, William Wegman and Ambreen Butt (and many more) will be presented in the Live Auction, starting at 8 pm and hosted by Karen Keane, CEO of Skinner Auctioneers.
In additional, 200+ works will be available for bid in the silent Auction opening at 6:30 pm.

This is a show NOT to be missed! I'll be attending both the Auction and Preview Reception, Thursday, April 8th. Please come out and join me for this truly impressive evening of art and help me support the next generation of creativity and the best (and only public!) art college in the nation.

I am extremely honored to announce that my work has, once again, been selected for the prestigious MassArt Benefit Art Auction taking place in Boston this Spring.

The MOST exciting part of this news, is that the jury has chosen my piece "Confluence #4" to be featured in the distinguished LIVE auction section of this highly respected annual art event!
Although I have been a contributing artist to the Silent Auction at MassArt for the past 7 years, this is the first year my work will be featured in the "Live" auction, a true distinction and honor, and I couldn't be more thrilled!

Chosen from over 1400 pieces of art, only a hand full of work is selected to be presented in the Live Auction, hosted by the amazing Karen Keane, CEO of Skinner Auctioneers.
My piece will be featured alongside nationally and internationally renowned artists such as , Ambreen Butt , Nicole Chesney , Michael Mazur, Abelardo Morell, Sol LeWitt, Liliana Porter, Bill Thompson, and William Wegman.

Each April, the Annual Benefit Art Auction at MassArt draws a crowd of over 600 collectors and art enthusiasts. This event has become one of Boston's rites of spring, and this year's promises to be the best yet. Serious connoisseurs will be focused on the 39 pieces offered in the live auction but the opportunity to wander through unexplored territory – ceramics, glass, jewelry, paintings, photography, sculpture, and works on paper - continues throughout this fun evening filled with art.
This is one of Bostons most popular and exciting art events of the year and really should not be missed! I hope to see you there!

Its here! The biggest and best "Art party" of the year starts in just a few short hours. The prestigious MassArt Auction opens its door tonight at 6pm this evening and its not too late to be a part of this exciting event! Tickets are still available at the door!
Every year, I look forward to this night with great anticipation. As an artist, there is nothing more exciting than to be a part of this event. Its visual stimulation at its best! Plus it includes all of my favorite things combined under one gorgeous roof: GREAT art, good friends, wonderful food and wine and lots and lots of people fighting over ART! And all in the name of supporting our next generation of creativity!
I was lucky to be able to attend this years preview auction Thursday evening and I have to say... this is a show NOT to be missed!!
The arts need you more than ever so if you haven't made a decision to attend this event...PLEASE do it now! You wont regret it (and remember...your ticket price/ art purchasing/ spontaneous spending is all tax deductable!! ;-)

I am privileged to, once again, be part of this years prestigious MassArt Auction coming up in just a few short weeks!! I truly hope you can join me for this exciting and fun event!

Each spring, the Annual Benefit Art Auction at MassArt draws a crowd of over 600 collectors and art enthusiasts, each one hoping to capture the joy of discovery, the thrill of the hunt: a new work of art to bring home!
Join me for an exciting evening in support of the next generation of creativity. The MassArt Foundation's 20th Annual Benefit Art Auction will take place Saturday, April 4, 2009 at The Sandra & David Bakalar Gallery and The Stephen D. Paine Gallery at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, 621 Huntington Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts.

The MassArt Annual Benefit Art Auction is the school's major fund raising event of the year. This year, over 300 nationally and internationally renowned artists will participate in the Auction.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The Live Auction will begin at 8:00 p.m. with auctioneer Karen Keane, CEO Skinner, Inc. The Silent Auctions remain open throughout the evening. To purchase tickets or to receive an invitation, please contact Dani Williams, Alumni Relations Assistant at (617) 879-7020 or via email at: auction@massart.edu. Advance tickets may also be purchased online at MassArtAuction.org through Thursday, April 2, 2009 by 8:00 p.m. (EST).
