Nominated for "Outstanding Abstract Artist of 2009"!

I am literally "speechless"...
I just received word that I've been nominated for
"Outstanding Abstract Artist of 2009"
at the 16th annual "Spotlight Awards".

I'm truly honored by this nomination and hope you will join me (and cheer me on!!) when the winners are announced at this very special Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 15th 2010.

"Held annually at the historic, 800-seat Music Hall in Portsmouth NH, the Spotlight on the Arts Awards is a non-profit event that is free and open to the public. It features live performances and the dispensing of more than 20 awards. The show, sponsored by Seacoast Media Group, has become the area’s own conglomeration of the Oscars and Grammys, and helps cultivate and acknowledge the arts scene. All walks of the artistic community - artists, musicians and thespians - gather for a night to share inspiration, toast each other, and cheer for those who walk away with the coveted "Spotty."

I am privileged to be nominated alongside 4 extremely talented artists in my category:
~Outstanding Abstract Artist of 2009~
* Tim Beavis

* Kim Bernard

* Robin Luciano Beaty

* Gail Spaien

* Rose
Umerlik

PLEASE come out and support the arts (and ME!) at this exciting event!!!
(I even heard a rumor that there is a red carpet ...AND live TV coverage. Oh NOOO.... I'm not nervous at all. ;)
Wish me luck and I hope to see you there!
THANK YOU!

  3. Thanks ladies!
    I'm still a little shocked by it all but I'm very grateful to have so much support from my peers. Its truly the best compliment an artist can receive and I appreciate it so so much.
    (...and I've realized that I need to learn how to fuse with my left arm since my right bicep is looking a bit "off-proportion" lately. These 4 footers really are a hard core work out!! ;)
