"Meandering #4"

This is one of my most recently completed pieces which I planned on premiering for sale as my newest Featured Painting. Fortunately, it sold before I could even upload the photos.
Although this particular piece is no longer available for purchase, I decided to keep it as the featured painting to show an example of my work custom framed.
Normally my work is presented without a frame but this is simply a personal preference. Some prefer a more finished look but I must admit to having a serious love affair with the delectable confectionery-like drips that are so uniquely characteristic of wax.
With this is mind, my custom floater frames are designed specifically to show the textural edge of an encaustic painting while still giving the piece a clean, finished presentation. I hand construct each using 2" deep x 3/4" maple hardwood, stained or natural and priced individually. I offer framing on all work in studio.
